Cesar Gracie is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt who has trained a number of top fighters in Pleasant Hill, California. Cesar received his black belt from Carlos Robson Gracie on February 15, 1992. At that time, Robson Gracie headed the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation. In 1996, Cesar Gracie received another certificate from Carlos Gracie, Jr, founder of Confederacao Brasileira De Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJ) and son of Carlos Gracie who along with his brother, Helio Gracie, were the co-founders of "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu" also known as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Cesar Gracie was the 2nd Gracie in North America to open a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Cesar's students include David Terrell, Matheus Andre, Nick Diaz, Nate Diaz, Jake Shields and Gilbert Melendez.

Cesar Gracie and Scott Landis
Scott Landis - Head coach, Scott Landis, is an Oklahoma City Firefighter and has been studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts since the early 1990s. He opened his martial arts academy in 2005. Scott is Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Cesar Gracie. He has competed in a number of competitions in recent years but spends most of his time teaching his students, both children and adults, and training MMA fighters. Some of Scott's awards include 2009 NAGA - Europa World Championship --Gold Medal Winner - Advanced Master's Division, 2009 Titan Grappling Challenge-Gold Medal Winner - Purple Belt Division, 2009 Pan-American Championship--Silver Medal Winner - Purple Belt - Master's Division, 2010 NAGA Dallas -- Gold Medal Winner - Men's Gi Master's Expert Division and 1-0 Pro Fight record.
